Nanaplaza Mansion ?

This is just a thought.

 

Jackson, the owner of the WSG, lives now in Buenos Aires, and has opened the WSG Mansion, a kind of Deluxe B&B in a private house with about ten suites, a swimming pool, billiards, restaurant, salon, ect ...... yet this is not a brothel nor a sex-factory, just an new improved hotel concept.

 

Beside the usual hotel's amenities, services include transport from/to the airport by chicas/drivers,Clubs tours, pool parties, diners and Sunday BBQs with chicas (independant girls with who anyone is free to make any arrangements, new chicas every weeks), AMA -Argentina Mongers Association- weekly meetings, list of "Mansion approved" girls, translation's help for phone appointments with escorts or in MPs, ect ...

 

Another WSG member, Aussie Greg, has also just opened a Mansion in Medellin - Colombia, with exactly the same services (the draft of his new site is on www.medellinmansion.com, and he runs also the Medellin Apartments).

 

Those Mansions bring IMO a new meaning to the term Hotel. Their occupancy rates are surely good, steady mostly by WSG's members.

 

So what about a "Nanaplaza Mansion" in Bangkok ?

 

I like the idea !!

Sure, anybody got a couple million US$ I can borrow :)

 

This Jackson guy must be doing much better of his site than we are doing.

 

Seriously though, I do like the idea, but I for one will never be able to afford (or run) something like that.

I actually think this is a doable idea.

 

Bantered this around with several groups of folks who looked at this as some sort of group investment.

 

That unfortunately is the wrong way to go. It has to be an investment by a one or two lead active investors and the rest passive with no recourse or else there will be too many cooks in the kitchen.

 

Investor(s) need to get together. Agree on the ideal concept (what's the ideal furnishings, amenities, and services) and then just wait for something to come up.

 

Cause that's the kicker. You have to wait for a property to free up that is in the proper location and that can be molded to what you want. Unless investors are willing to invest in the long haul, it does not pay to construct your own building. The only way to recoup your money in the short/medium term is to buy an existing improvement (building).

Agree. It's do-able. Very do-able.

 

But there's a lot of "but's": You need a stable, reliable and influential Thai trustee, a convinced financier, a knowledgeable business developer and a sophisticated manager.

 

Otherwise the whole thing will be a butterfly enterprise.

 

(while he is certainly not my hero, I somehow admire Marc for managing/having developed the Eden business. He knows his limits and keeps things in a frame)

The 'minus' is that people staying in this kind of places are surely quickly targeted as sex-tourists ; that could be VERY embarrassing in cities like Medellin or Buenos Aires where the non-pro scene is also good and where guys don't necesseraly need to partake the P4P scene. IMHO.

 

Anyway I plan to go to Colombia this winter. In Medellin, if the Mansion will suit all my needs for the first week, I'll choose better a 'traditionnal' hotel or apartment if I have to stay longer.
