Guest
Does anyone know why viagra causes headaches? It certainly enhanced things, but after taking it, I had a horrible headache for the next 24 hours. It was so bad I won't go near the stuff again even though it certainly acheived the desired effect below the waistline.

short-time
I think that?s very unusual. Have heard reports of guys having slight headaches, flushing, stuffy nose, etc. but never 24 hour throbbers like you describe ? hell the drug only lasts 4 - 6 hours! Maybe try a lower dose, some claim good results with only 25mg or try Cialis or better yet Levitra. Have you talked to your doctor about this? Old Hippie
I can actuallty see whereit would cause headaches, as (I believe) one of the side effects is elevated blood pressure. I have High blood pressure, and also suffer from chronic Maigrains. For both those reasons, I was advised by my doctor not to use Viagra. Not that I need it! I am all Man, all very studly and Virle...hey, wait a second, come (pun intended) to think of it, my doctor is a woman, obviously part of the anti men having sex and enjoying it campaign!... This thread should be developed into an Faq format, placed under the FAQ section and than kept continuously updated. And owing that is's so tightly related to the nanaplaza.com's core values, it should also be made into an " sticky." SHit. ::

Viagra LOWERS blood pressure. Viagra is usually not recommeded for patients with unstable high blood pressure. I have HBP but it responds well to Enaril (an ACE inhibitor) which brings it to within normal limits. I've never seen any credible explanation of Viagra induced headaches. Seems it may have something to do with blood vessel dilation. I do get the headaches sometimes especially if I'm tired, but certainly the frequency and intensity of my headaches and other side effects lessened with the continuing use of the drug. I've been using Viagra since it was released in 1997 and I can say that there is a residual effect that lasts a lot longer than 4-6 hours. My urologist in the US said he had other patients who reported the same experience. -redwood
Old Hippie
I take Inderil for my HBP, a beta blocker I believe. My doctor did tell me Viagra could raise my blood pressure, buto.k. maybe lower it, I have no clue. From all the migraine clinics I've been to, the claim is. low blood pressure can also cause headaches, though usually a different type of headache. My doctor explained to me that worse than low BP or HBP was irratic BP, which strained the heart/circulatory system even more. For those reasons, she warned against it's use. I never tried it, but have heard it may give you a hard on, but not necessarily allow you to rejuvananate any faster between romps. ANyone have any comments on that? Guest
My blood pressure is fine, but I was having migraines long before I knew about viaga or Thailand. I think I will check with a doctor before I self-medicate again with vitamin V.

Yes, I can get a second erection after taking Sidenafil citrate though the length of time for the refractory period will vary. But most likely I'll have a very difficult time cumming a second time. :: -redwood
