sayjann
thank you sir. by the way thanks for winning me a drink Boys. i bet my GF that more than 50% of replies would include BKK and so far i'm right..... i didn't include the City as i don't really like it and also because i have only ever spent 6 Nights there. many nicer Cities in the World IMHO. Marrakech was a close choice over Sydney. i went to Marrakech in the early 90's when i used to run Marathons and worked for a firm which took runners all over the World to compete. we were a group of 21 and we had 7 locals to accompany us and it was wonderful. the sights smells etc were incredible and we were left alone by the locals. wandering the souks and the main square at Night was a real experience. running through the orange groves and riding a camel through the atlas mountains will remain in my mind forever. my first experience of a Country like Morocco and i was spellbound. UAL875
Random order: Metropolis: NYC Paris Tokyo Bangkok Madrid Smaller cities that have characteristics I enjoy very much: Florence Salzburg Luang Prubang Cordoba New Orleans Lastly, I will weigh in my two yen on Marrakesch. This city, along with the few others I visited in Morocco, would make my list of disdain. But one man's ceiling is another man's floor - good on ya if you liked it there. The hassling, haggling, unkind people - just not my bag, baby.
