Pat_from_Jersey
Since my first visit to LOS will be during New Year's Eve, was wondering if anyone can recommend where EXACTLY to go? Do some bars sponsor parties (like FLB in Pattaya)? Is there anything special about NYE in Bangkok?

Pat_from_Jersey
Unfortunately (or fortunately), I will be in Bangkok from 12/26/05 throug 01/01/06 before going to Pattaya for 10 days. So, I need New Year's in Bangkok info. Any suggestions would be appreciated? Is the Nana Hotel having a party?
yfs
Yes, there will be a party ...somewhere. Don't fret over it. Bars will be open late and barfines will be doubled. Enjoy.

..
It has become tradition for a bunch of us (my friends, not necessarily board members) to hit Dollhouse Gogo for their NYE party. They fill the place, literally, with little styrofoam balls (about 4mm) to simulate snow and pass out Silly String to use at midnight. We usually BF a fav gal or two and party there. Of course, the Dollhouse gals are fun and BF-able too, so you certainly do not have to bring your own... We will also do a few bar hops all along Cowboy as all the bars are open until the last customer leaves that night, err morning (we give it up usually about 0700 or so). You know it's over when Farangman starts speaking Welsh...5555555555555 Cheers, SD

Not really, apart from the bars staying open till sunrise. I've spent many NYE (Hogmany where I come from) in Bangkok and on a number of occassions while in some bar with my mates I've taken a look at my watch and realised that it was already past midnight! Nobody noticed and nobody cared.

TQ in Pattaya did this long before there was any Dollhouse in Thailand. regards ALHOLK
