Not to justify the situation, but that's the way it is. If you want to talk about wasting fuel, take a look at Bangkok! There are so many cars on the road that traffic can be horrendous, whilst the engines are so poorly tuned that clouds of smoke belch out of 90% of the vehicles. And what % of the Thai population lives in Bangkok and actually owns cars? Half of the cars on the city's streets couldn't pass an emmissions test in western countries. Many are beginning to regret who they voted for..." We didn't choose him, he cheated not once but twice. And there is a small movement here, and growing to impeach the bastard. Additionally, some members of his cabinet have been indicited, and others are facing incidtment...Almost 70% of the people in this country dislike him, he is the most disliked president in history... Explain to them that we are so much superior to everyone else, that we deserve it...isn't that the attitude you all think we have anyway? Let me get this strait, the U.S. is supposed to compeate with other countries like Luxumborg, and Lichtenstein? Just wait a few years when China really gets going, and we all hate them, gues we'll still get blamed for all the world's evils...Let's not even get into the whole anti-American crap on this o.k.? All that said, I agree, we in the USA need better Mass transit and we need to develope alternative fuel vehicles,alternative energy sources etc...
