Guest
ikkrang I was using a mac titanium laptop for a few months b4 I got the mini ( had to, the laptop fried itself) I noticed it got very hot in the back right side after being on for about 2+ hrs ( was running it for 6-8 hrs a day at work) I set it on some heatsink material, it ran quite a bit cooler, but probably too late. the screen kept acting up and after talking to a few mac users, seems it was a design flaw, the circut traces in the video driver section actually lift off the board after hot/cold cycles. I think they were not made for use more than an hour at a time. happy with the mini ( so far, as things go, now that I said that it will probably start to crapp out) also, as for photoshop software, ( prev posts) I use graphicconverter, very low cost for the paid version, and works great for me. Guest
as for mac heat problems, I would bet apple knows ( knew) about it, but by the time it does the damage, its too late for us to complain successfully. probably same long range plan for the mini, so I hope the heatsink works out.
