Old Hippie
I have read a lot of good stuff on these. More stable operating system, faster, better, less prone to viruses and spyware/malware...most of the serious film guys use them... so the question is, any thoughts/experiences with these? Thanks! liquidflux
Takes a little getting used to if you're acccustomed to a PC, but it doesn't take long. Definitely the better choice if you'll be doing graphics and/or video work. Downside is that your software choices will be severely limited compared to a PC. All true! OTOH, they are much more expensive than comparable PC clones and there is far less software specifically created for Apple machines, though many now can run Windoze programs. Old Hippie
The only stuffI do right now is Photos, a few Thai learning programs, and Eventually video...I'd have the PC for the other stuff...I figure an apple class or 2 would help...but I think I want the stability, and anti virus/spyware advantages as well... If OH goes to Linux, I fear that the 'Technology' section will soon become the Q&A OH section.... ;-)
