Flashermac
THE NATION Swedish tourist falls to his death from Bangkok apartment Dec 15 , 2005 A 25-year-old Swedish tourist fell to his death from the 15th floor of an apartment in Bangkok late Wednesday night, police said. The tourist was identified as Anders Harald Gustafsson. Police said the man was believed to have fallen from the room of Waleerat Inthinanpong, 33, on the 15th floor of the 20-storey Evergreen Place on Soi Worarit off New Phetchaburi Road. Police said Gustafsson was visiting his Swedish friend, Vannessa Reeve, a student who was staying with Waleerat. Waleerat said the man stayed late to drink and she and Reeve went to bed and left the man to drink alone. She said she knew about the death in the morning when informed by officials of the apartment. Police said Gustafsson might have fallen while trying to take pictures of the city from the balcony. Police found a digital camera near his body. Zorro
Why are there so many deaths in Thailand by falling off balconies? It just isn't safe anywhere but the ground floor. If it wasn't so alarming you could almost laugh at how regular it is?
