I?m a new guy here, I just joined a bit ago. You may have read my introduction in the introduction section. For the sake of brevity I am going to assume that you did read the aforementioned introduction. I will however attempt to put this trip into perspective. I work for an international company based in the US. I will use the term ?the firm? for future references to this. Periodically I am called upon to pay visits to foreign countries, for short periods of times. This is my account of my latest journey.

 

So, I have never been to Indonesia, but I am going there now. I tried to read the thread here at Nana Plaza, but it is not easy to read a 65 page post. I am also only going to be there for a short amount of time, one day, and the flight out is an every early morning CX flight. From what I have read however, I can pick up chicks at shopping malls very easily, and it just so happens that my hotel is attached to a shopping mall. Plan formulated.

 

So I am at the airport in Jakarta. My first opinion is very favorable. When I get into the Silver Bird taxi the driver hits the meter without asking. See if this happens next time you?re in Bangkok. We are soon at the Hotel. Soon checked it. Soon cleaned up. Soon in the mall.

 

The mall is nice, just like home, well better than home. The girls are beautiful, but I am not sure which ones are in on the game. How do you tell? I never could. The mall it turns out is too much like home, so I catch a taxi to the Pasa Raya mall, or something like that. I do some shopping get a hair cut, have some dinner. I meet one female at a internet/phone call shop. She gives me here business card, and I talk to her for a bit. But that?s it. Back to my hotel, one more quick run through the mall, but nothing. I go to bed alone. And early.

 

I check out of the hotel at 5:00 AM. As I am checking out I watch some guy bringing back two streetwise looking young ladies back to his room. It?s out there, I just didn?t know where.

 

I am at the airport and flying home today. I ask one of the CX staff if I can change my flight from Hong Kong to the States. I go back and check in my luggage at left luggage. Within an hour I am on Observatory Road. Number 16. 6th Floor. I am unprepared for this trip, but I have been here before. The first door that is open I look in, but the lady is not my type. In the second room, there are two ladies, on busty, the other more regular looking. I take the regular looking one. She is 20 years old and real good looking. She is also very fun with a great personality. We shower, then engage in several different activities all in which she excels. Observations: I wonder how you tell which girls are in on the game in Jakarta? I will return there at some time, and would like to know. In Hong Kong I like the 141 thing, because I did not have anything prepared ahead of time, I find the Hong Kong way of just looking at the girls first, like the locals do, works very well. Also if you look at the 141 website, or any like it, you soon notice that some buildings seem to attract a higher percentage of good looking girls, like the two places that I visited. The two younger ladies that I did were also supper fun just to be with. I don?t know if they like their line of work, but they did do a superior job, and had good senses of humor. Hey, I just noticed that Emily is on the 141 site, listed as 23 years old and local, when she is 27 and Shanghi, buyer beware.

How to pick up chix in Jakarta? The scene is totally a freelancer one. If you are on holiday, i.e., don't know the game, the easiest way is to hit a disco in a 4-5 star hotel. The Pit Stop in the basement of the Sari Pan Pac immediately springs to mind (since in lived in that hotel for a few months), as does the Hard Rock almost right next door. There are many others, but I am drawing a blank on the names right now.

 

And there are plenty of bars with "available" ladies in Blok M.

 

FYI, standard pricing is in the Rp200K-300K range for a LT -- most experiences there are LT rather than ST, unless you kick her out.

I agree Blok M is the mall to go to if looking for "normal" girls who play. I think I know the mall Fudgy went to and those are the the girls who dont think their $hit stinks.

Thanks for your reply. So here is my question for you, and realize that I am an idiot, but when you're in the malls how do you tell which of the ladies are in on the game, I just couldn't figure it out, and I didn't notice any glances or winks or anything like that. But boy did they have lots of nice looking girls there, my favorites were the ones with the scarf things on their heads, but I'm pretty sure they are not in on the game. And Asianfun was correct in that I was at the Plaza Indonesia, before going to that other place.

Uh, you do not. Especially if you have not been there long (long enough to understand the subtleties of the place) and speak the local language adequately.

 

Use common sense. Stay away from trying to find a P4P gal in a "normal" venue. Treat the gals just as you would back in farangland; i.e., assume that they are NOT P4P unless they are in a place that caters to it or they specifically say that they are.

 

Otherwise, be sure you have adequate medical insurance and enough folding stuff in yer wallet to stay out of a third world jail!

Thats exactly what I ended up doing there. I think I read the internet too much, cause what I was expecting was a meat market in the malls. But then I got there, and it was like regular people shopping at hem mall, and I was confused, as where was the meat market. When I did my post cards I sat in the Starbucks at the Plaza Indonesia, and there were lots of nice looking girls but no furative glances or anything. So I went to bed, as I was wiped out from the flight, and I'm not much of a bar person.

 

I will say that I thought the Indonesian people were some of the friendliest people that I've met, everyone seemed really cool there, it was just like up country in Thailand.

It is a shock when you realize just how nice Indonesian people really are. I did not meet a single arsehole, well except for one of their high ranking government officials...he made up for all of them combined. LOL.

 

Prior to the trip I had heard so much crap from american sources describing the place as the dangerous, radical banana republic style country chock full of terrorists.

Other well known pick up places are BATS (nightclub at the Shangri La), CJs (nightclub at the Hotel Mulia) and Mistere (nightclub at the Ritz Carlton). My personal preference is for BATS.

 

You have to be a little bit careful at these venues as not all girls there are on the game. Some are just there to have a good time with their friends. In my experience most of the girls were fairly easy to approach and I've come home with both P4P and non-P4P girls.

 

Price wise the P4P girls in these five star hotel venues are often pretty ambitious and will have an opening bid of US$100 (1,000,000 rupiah) and possibly upwards for the night. This is way too high. If they won't come down to a more realistic figure don't waste your time. Tell them no thanks and start looking for another one immediately. There's no shortage of choice.

 

I've also found that girls often work together. You can get, and sometimes will be asked if you'd like, two girls for the night if you're interested.

 

If you're staying at the Shangri La or the JW Marriott both of these venues are guest friendly. I've never had any problems bringing companion(s) back to either hotel. I have heard of girls being shaken down for money by hotel security staff when they leave so you may want to consider doing the gentlemanly thing and taking them downstairs and escorting them to a taxi in the morning.

It's Bar At The Shangrila, actually.

The professionals tend to sit at the back, away from the stage while the amateurs or non-P4P tend towards the front. So I was told, anyhow.

Kee-rist mate!!! Do you have sucker tattooed on your forehead? I have never, ever been quoted such astronomical prices. Now I do speak Bahasa, but it is the Melayu variety, not the Indo kind. But could that be enough to make a difference? My most "over the top" number was Rp400K (at the old Fashion Cafe, when Rp150K was the norm, but she was an 11), which ended up at Rp250K in five minutes.
