Have know a few friends who have taken their wifes or long term girlfriend and they girls ALL got a 10 year visa to the US from the BKK embassy. Old Hippie Posted May 14, 2006 Report Share Posted May 14, 2006 WYD, It all depends, if the guy Lives and works in LOS, then one set of "rules" (loose term, lack of a better word) applies, if he wants to just bring a girl here to visit him for a holiday, it is an entirely different set of "rules." US Immigration, looks for "A clear and compelling reason to return." Having a husband or BF who lives and works in Thailand is a reason, having her (19 years old, no money, kids, land, job, business etc...) come here to bang you for how ever long, is not a reason to return...we have fucked up rules here for sure...They are however very giving on Fiance visas, really almost just a matter of applying...
