Mentors
please read the post before The Giant QUARTER FINALS Russia - Czech Republik Sweden - Slovakia USA - Finland Canada - Switzerland looks not good for the Canadians: a glass of fresh milk, a bite of Chocolate, a fine Cheese Raclette and a glass of white wine and ... we will beat them! Damen
The Canadians were the better team but Grahame let in 3 soft goals yesterday. He's played pretty well this tournament so hopefully he wont let it affect him going forward. Even if we get past Finland, we are in for a tough game against RUS-CZE winner. I'd much rather have to face Switzerland

trooper
Grrreat!! It wasn't an easy win for Finland but once again, bye bye USA We have to face Russia again in the semifinals so I don't expect much, they've been so strong. But there's still a small chance to go all the way to the final
Neo
Another great game I wish I could have watched!!! UBC is crap for sports. No world cup, no winter olympics, no hockey! In a gritty, intense quarter-final Thursday night in Moscow, Jere Lehtinen scored the lone goal in a penalty shootout to give Finland a 5-4 victory over a resilient young American squad that rallied from one-goal deficits four times before succumbing. I noticed Italy got a 2nd vote even though they are eliminated long ago ha ha. Russia still gets no votes??? Looks like a titanic clash between Russia and Canada, but all 4 teams left are very tough and talented.
