The Canadians were the better team but Grahame let in 3 soft goals yesterday. He's played pretty well this tournament so hopefully he wont let it affect him going forward.

Even if we get past Finland, we are in for a tough game against RUS-CZE winner. I'd much rather have to face Switzerland :neener:

Grrreat!! It wasn't an easy win for Finland but once again, bye bye USA :)

We have to face Russia again in the semifinals so I don't expect much, they've been so strong. But there's still a small chance to go all the way to the final :D

Another great game I wish I could have watched!!!

UBC is crap for sports. No world cup, no winter olympics, no hockey!

In a gritty, intense quarter-final Thursday night in Moscow, Jere Lehtinen scored the lone goal in a penalty shootout to give Finland a 5-4 victory over a resilient young American squad that rallied from one-goal deficits four times before succumbing.

I noticed Italy got a 2nd vote even though they are eliminated long ago ha ha.

Russia still gets no votes??? Looks like a titanic clash between Russia and Canada, but all 4 teams left are very tough and talented.
