(not only northern Africa but Somalia etc... too) Seems limited to Africa. Old Hippie Posted August 22, 2006 Report Share Posted August 22, 2006 Was a big case here,involving child welfare, where in, a father was taking his daughter home to have it done, regardless of the girl's objections, and those of her mother. A judge ruled it was up to her parents, anjd the courts really had no jurisdiction, as it would be done out of the country...frankly, I think this is one time the authorities should have stepped in...
