Flashermac
At this moment Penang doesn't issue Non Immi "B" visa anymore, KL does however. Sure about that? If so, I'll have to pass that on, since every now and then somebody gets hired by the university who turns out to be on a tourist visa. The unie has to provide them with the paperwork for a non-immig B and send them off to get one. Usual choices are Penang or Wiengchan.
limbo
Mac, A friend of mine on Samui told me this and he had to go to KL to get his visa sorted, about two weeks ago. It would've been a lot cheaper for him to go to Penang. He found out by calling the Penang Embassy, maybe give them a call to verify.
Dumsoda
Noticed the same thing last week. In for a couple of days and stamp was "hi-lighted" with a green marker. It was my first visit since 1st October, so I guess they are marking the start point. Cheers DS
Central Scrutinizer
DS, Time to start getting a regular visa instead of using the VOA 30 day visas? How's this affect you and the other Ausiies? Cent
