Fidel
I have a new HP lap top.. with an minor but irritating problem. When I hit the quotation mark key, the quotation symbol doesn't appear until I make the next keystroke. Anyone come across this and know how to fix it? unit731
Is this a software or hardware problem? Does this happen each and every time no matter what program using? Have you tried using a different keyboard?

I have a new HP DV5000 (5120) that I picked up in the USA earlier this year. Not real happy with the keyboard, as it seems that I have to really pound on the keyboard. Previous PCs were Dell and IBM. Those were much better keyboards, as a light touch worked well. I type away and check to find that half of the letters are missing??? Then it is edit, edit, edit Also, I see the letters popping after much later, after I have already typed them...maybe a BIOS fix? I will have to check...or maybe a new keyboard for me... Bkkbound04
I had problems with question mark, capitol p and end bracket keys on a Toshiba Notebook. It was a nusiance. I found the only solution was using the righthand side shift key. Then all keystrokes were ok. JP
