Torneyboy
One in five British children cannot find the UK on a map of the world, according to research published by the National Geographic Kids magazine. The study showed that one in 10 children were not able to name a single continent and more than 20,000 children in London failed to know they lived in Englands capital. The magazine questioned over 1000 six to fourteen year olds to mark its UK launch. Less than twothirds were able to locate the UKs closet ally, the US and 86% failed to identify Iraq.
