whcouncill
Ok. Someone asked about shipping stuff from China to the US. Here it is..... "im looking for ways to get my goods out of china & into america, w/o spending my entire budget OR putting it on a boat & having it take 6 months any ideas? fedex costs a fortune...chinese shippers cant get into america" I was figuring that they are prolly gonna have to take the boat route. Any advice for this person? Thanks.
ThaiHome
Well, all I know is I got a container from Guangzhou to Thailand in less than 3 weeks. Have heard to US (west coast) is about 6 weeks at most. I don't think it will be a problem for a Chinese shipper to get into the US. The biggest shiping company is Chinese and doesn't it own the Port of Long Beach? TH
cavanami
A ship can get to the USA west coast in a few weeks. Us a shipping company, like Crown Movers or the like. Have it sent by sea. I priced shipping big, heavy equipment from China to the Boston area and it was like $4K per 40 foot container, by sea and about four weeks shipping time. Nervous_Dog
We use both ship and air to get stuff from China to Thailand, can;t imagine but don't know that USA doesn;t allow shipping given China is one of their biggest trade partners. Try shipping agents - especially a international group

Find what you want to get here, then deal directly with the factory in China Alibaba
buffalo_bill
What kind of commodity and what kind of quantities are we talking about ? Just to ask the 2 very basic questions . Of course any oceanline can enter US ports , except maybe Burmese or NorthKorean. What is the problem anyway ? BuBi
