Roger_Baby
Ok here's a question for some of you tech savvy guys. If one can run XP on a Mac, then would OSX work on a PC? It would be nice to save all that money.
Guest
If you mean, can you run osx on your current microshit only PC, then it's possible if it uses intel chips, i think it's possible to make a partition on the drive...there was a 'proof of concept' thing released a while ago someplace...i don't have the details or an url, sorry..but if you mean, can i run osx from within windowz, thus far it's not possible afaik...but then why would anyone want to do that? Better to run osx and then flip into windowz for a game or some other interesting past time, imho....bootcamp being the obvious choice or Parallells, when it's updated, as it's going to be improved a lot allegedly. Coss
Parallells is really good, but charging for a beta? Cheers Coss

bust
Just watching story on release of Windows Vista. Seems to be just playing catch-up with Mac OSX. Unless I'm missing something.
Alfmaz
The MAC with the new Intel chip set you can have 2 hard drive one with Mac and the other with XP and run a program called boot camp to boot what system you want
junglesoup
Thats good if you can have both. I hear vista is playing catch up. If it does catch up then at least it will be cheaper than Mac and have nearly the same capabilities
