scott808
cuban cigars in LOS are pretty expensive. i always bring some along from duty free shops in europe or even cheaper is dubai!but had to try the Trinidad Lonsdale when it came out a couple of years back. paid 3000 Baht for 2 pcs at Oriental! In the U.S. cuban cigars are illegal. You can get one for about $30 ea. So going to the LOS and paying $15 for one cuban cigar for me is not too bad. (Paying anything over $30 is too rich for my blood) BTW, I never buy cubans in the U.S. Usually non-smoking friends receive them as gifts and know that I smoke ciagrs. So I usually get freebees... But it happens only 2-3 times a year.
samak
yes i am well aware about the US ban on everything that is cuban. american hotel companies like Hilton or Marriott are even enforced to ban cuban citizens to stay in their hotels in other countries; however there they get fined by local authorities for discrimination! (just read a report about that). crazy world!
