gawguy
I want to make a business call to a cell phone in the USA, but I don't want the receiver to know where I am. What information will show up on his phone and/of Received Calls list? Thanks, GG
passingthru69
When I make calls from my thai mobile it shows up when I call the states. I belive there is a way to block. I know I can block my U.S. mobile. Ask your mobile provider how to block the number.
Nervous_Dog
If you use a calling card it'll often loose your local thai number as that information is stripped when converted to IP then back again. If you use a regular phone it may/may not show up as major telco's also use VOIP but dont tell you while charging you a premium! DOG
manaomaiminam
On ways to block from LOS, I have been asking this question for 3 years on various forums and have yet to find a solution. Yes, you can block in USA (*69 or *67, I think, I can't remember), but as far as I know not here. A few phones have blocking features, but to my knowledge they don't work. Do you have a USA sim (like Cingular/AT&t)?, Maybe you can bite the bullet on the high charges in LOS (something like $1.99/minute), a make the call. It should show up with your US number. BJ_Blackowitz
(Spoof) Spoofing is illegal in europe, would cost the provider of the servie their contract to operate as Service Provider. use SKYPE ! this will work always anytime, anywhere... Nobody will know where you are calling from (except if your tilac is very load in the background )
