chuckwoww
"Ibrahim Rahim Bor of the ministry informed the British diplomat of the incident, noting that the British soldiers had repeatedly violated Iranian territorial waters at Shatt Al-Arab waterway during the occupation of Iraq." http://www.kuna.net.kw/Home/Story.aspx?Language=en&DSNO=964481 Based on that comment you would think the Iranians were right. chuckwoww
What's most interesting about this is the timing. There is another UN sanctions meeting coming up....and I see Ahmedinajad has cancelled his trip to New York.
bust
Sounds like the Iranians may have been justified bases on track record of the ME. Troops are always crossing borders into these areas gathering intelligence.
chuckwoww
It looks like the Brits and the Iranians both think they're in the right. The area is disputed territory anyway so maybe they are. My guess is this isn't the trigger for all out conflict and will probably be settled in a few days, probably with a prisoner exchange though it won't be called that.
