was_usvirgin
Pretty common knowledge for surfers to pee on their feet after stepping on sea urchins. Injuries to other parts of the body might require help though.
Encore
A Thai friend (EX BG, EX isan urchin) told me at age five, she was in the ricefield, playing with the big knife, cut her finger big way. big sister (maybe mum) saw her, had no other resources. she squatted, peed on cut, tore strip of her sarong, tied it up. the scar is still there, but there was no infection. Bangkoktraveler
"big sister (maybe mum) saw her, had no other resources. she squatted, peed on cut, tore strip of her sarong, tied it up." LOL Reminds me of a book I once bought. It was the first translation of Mayan medicine to English. In the book it said that most health problems were cured by using pee. I imagined one person sitting down on the ground and 10 or more elders standing around in a circle and peeing on the person. Maybe that is where the word peon come from?
