The problem lies in the fact they also want to be friends with the Kurds, the Turks blood enemies, and also a secular race. Talibanization has arrived in the capital, with gangs of bearded thugs going around threatening the owners of DVD/music stores and barbers, warning women to cover up, and even kidnapping "brothel" owners and police. Flashermac Posted April 15, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 15, 2007 My understanding is that the division of Punjab was brutal, with the Sikhs and Muslims murdering each other without mercy. Lahore's train station was supposed to have been ankle deep in blood when the Muslims exterminated the Sikhs who didn't make it onto the last train out.
