MooNoi
That's the one, only mine didn't have as much variation in the wood colours That's because of the bacteria residing in it!!!!
teddy
So are you hinting that the naturally occuring bacteria killing property that Munchie reckons wood posesses had died off in my chopping board thus giving a more narrower colour variation in the individual board members Anyone know where I can buy 'naturally occuring bacteria killing property replenisher'
The_Munchmaster
Teddy, you could try: Tea Tree Oil A natural antiseptic that is highly effective at killing bacteria and fungus. Derived from the melaleuca tree native to Australia.
teddy
Munchie, if you use Tea Tree Oil on your chopping board your food would stink

It's used to treat cuts and stings etc. You might as well eat a nose inhaler and be done with it if you're going to put it on your wooden chopping board. Now a PLASTIC board... with anti-bacterial coating... you won't have these problems!!
The_Munchmaster
I did not know that.

teddy
No No, Munchie, whilst it can be used on wood, it doesn't say you can use it on food preparation surfaces. And just because it says, "doesn't give off toxic fumes", doesn't mean that it doesn't stink. The clingons in a miners arsecrack don't give off toxic fumes but you wouldn't want to rub them on your chopping board would you.

What the feck are ye talking aboot?! Clingons are hardwearing, reusable clips which instantly create a strong securing point or eyelet on any type of tarpaulin, canvas & synthetic material wherever you want in seconds â?? no tools required, no damage to the material. Now what would they be doing down a miners arse crack?! Perhaps you meant to say Klingons, the warrior race in the fictional Star Trek universe, who were recurring antagonists in Star Trek: The Original Series and later became the uneasy allies of the United Federation of Planets. Now one of these down a miners arse crack would be much more believable.
