limbo
Allright, the title of this thread syas it already, in my webanalyzer, I understand the concept of visits, pages I can understand as well, being the amount of pages visited but what are hits? pe7e
My understanding is they are 'packets of information sent from your server' ie a page with 1 html file would be 1 hit, a page with a single html file and 2 photo files would be 3 hits. This may be over symplistic and I may be wrong, but the person who told me, appeared to know what he was talking about.

khunsanuk
Hi, No, that is not what Limbo was referring to. That looks like a way to rank webpages (for searchengines); Limbo is asking about the hits number in server stats. Pe7e is correct with his explanation for that. Sanuk!
