Steve
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20060340/site/newsweek/?GT1=10252 He posts a blog on the best places to pick up 12 y.o. girls. I'm conflicted. Part of me wants this guy trailed if nothing else and thoroughly investigated. If he was listing places any 12 y.o. relative of mine or daughter of friends visits, I'd...well...you don't want to know but the libertarian part of me that respects the right to free speech says no. Weird
The article says he gets a high being around children. It also states that he voluntarily gave his picture to the police to show that he had no intention of actually breaking any laws by trying to do something to a child. Personally if I have to pick the worse of 2 evils, I'd choose the guy who was honest about it but at the same time law abiding by not actually doing it(and easy to monitor).. vs forcing them into hiding and making them hard to track. Flashermac
Ever seen the books of photos of nude little girls that are openly sold in Japan? Okay, the Japanese have a different attitude towards nudity than the West, but even so I find them strange. And just imagine what would happen if you took a few books home and customs found them. Old Hippie
"...but even so I find them strange. And just imagine what would happen if you took a few books home and customs found them..." Why would you want them if you thought they were strange? Frankly, I think these guys cannot be stopped. The best thing is, you let them have their web sights, then track them, and also, parents can read how these guys think and operate, and hopefully would have an idea of how these sick fucks operate/think, and hopefully keep an eye out. To use this as a catalyst to suppress more rights is just wrong.
Flashermac
<< Why would you want them if you thought they were strange? >> I wouldn't. But as they are sold so openly, someone might naively take one home - if only to show others how odd the Nipponese folks are. There have been complaints in Thailand about the Japanese cartoon books which are being translated into Thai and sold. Some of them are downright pornographic and are sold to anyone, including children.
