I have the original box and packing materials, but everytime I send anything home via UPS they make me unpack and repack it in one of their boxes. This is frustrating and totally lame. I take the time to pack everything I send very carefully. They don't watch me do the swap so it isn't a security issue. I have mainly been using a mailboxes etc. to send things. I am heading to a UPS service center to enquire today but figured I would task the braintrust here as well. Will I have to pay any duties / taxes? I did buy the laptop here. What about thai mail? Using Thai mail: 1. theft is an issue. 2. getting the crap beat out of the package is highly possible. I would say, not a good option.
