Flashermac
But expected ... p.s. One battalion of US Marines should be enough to defeat the Burmese military. Won't happen though. Got to bring democracy to Iraq.

The Thais will not let them in , will they send those back that come across ? Will China let them in ? what about India ? and looking at the map they also have borders with Bangladesh and Laos This is going to be a mess ! chuckwoww
BBC breaking news.... Burma monasteries in night raids Witnesses say security forces in Burma have launched raids on monasteries and arrested scores of monks, as they try to stem a rising tide of protests. About 100 Buddhist monks were reported to have been held when a monastery in the east of the main city, Rangoon, was stormed overnight, witnesses said. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/7015544.stm

Flashermac
Not at all happy about monks being mistreated and there are some protestors at the embassy. But after all, these are Burmese - and the Thais are still pissed off about 1767.
