passingthru69
Well earlier this year I posted about doing the Thai wedding at the family house in Nov. Well it's still on, but man how it has grown What I thought would be a small close family doing has grown to over 200 people She is the oldest and first daughter to marry in the family. Has 2 other sisters. Both have good jobs and still single. I just hope it goes well with no major problems..

Encore
Kneeling sideways, that is. Straight kneeling is frowned upon, too High.
Mekong
Make sure your wedding trousers have foam padding around the hip area or you will be numb for days afterwards.

passingthru69
Well we are allready married here in the states. Me and my big mouth started this wedding in Thailand. I suggested it thinking it would be a good show of face for the family.. Trying to score points with the family. They like me very well before, now I'm to high up on the pestal They are having food brought in. Hired a band. Plus much drink. Then my wife, Bless her heart tells my mom. You need to come also.. So guess who has to foot that bill. Don't get me wrong I love my mom, but 2 weeks of her in Thailand is not going to be easy on my nerves.. Plus 9 monks.. Can't get a good answer on why so many monks.

Mekong
They're in a union. Amalgamated Union of Monks AUM. When they chant AUM it is not a religious but praise to their union.
