Bangkoktraveler
I thought fudging was a form of cheating.
The_Munchmaster
I wonder if 'packing fudge' is one of those protected jobs that only a thai can hold? You may need a thai passport.... Excellent point Buddha. I wonder if anyone could check this out for me before I quit my current job. samak
i checked it out and as the thais do not know anything about packing fudge, it is not protected.. so you can go ahead to quit your current job! however you have to disguise, how much money you make, otherwise it's getting protected! RayRay
What I mean is, can you nibble on the fudge while packing it? I am not certain on this, but I would imagine if you are capable of eating the fudge while packing it then you would receive a higher commission rate than most "fudge packers". It does sound like this could require a bit of dexterity though. You might want to do some stretches before starting your shift.
Torneyboy
Look MM.. I would go ahead and take the job...would be good for you.(at your age) A Scotsman"s life is so slow and unhappy ..a new job and meet new people would do wonders for you ...go for it ..and nibble if you want.. sanddawg1
Munchy Mmmmm I would suggest setting up shop down Pattaya way; maybe in the Pattayaland 1 & 2 or â??Boyz Townâ? area plenty of fudge packers there!!! You could set-up quite an assembly line down there using cheap local talent.
pe7e
To get you off to a flying start in your new career you should buy yourself a yellow hanky with white stripes and a mustard one, wear both on the left hand side and the trade should be brisk. HERE'S a few more marketing tips you could start learning.
liquidflux
You're much too old to be a fudge packer. You might consider becoming a flea bagger instead.
Ongchaiyai
Muchie - Here's a starting point http://www.boncafe.co.th/prods/lyons/bontop-fudge-topping.php3 Also has a link to "Jobs Today" ...some current advertised positions involve Management and Service Technician positions...salary negotiable but must meet some of the following criteria; *Self motivated *Ready to learn and improve *Work experience is [color:red]preferred[/color] *Must own motor bike and have licence Only the Management positions seem to want Thai nationals, so you may be able to get into the Service area and work yourself down to a fudge-packer if the opportunities come along. Good luck
