..
I've had same day service upon request and pay B1200 (although got expedite free this year), otherwise 2-7 biz days turnaround. One year multi entry biz visas for the past several years; B3450 for Yanks, B3300 for others, exc B4500 for Thais. No dramas at all, user friendly (odd for China LOL). Visa section is located in the office building across the soi from the Chinese Embassy (on Rachada at soi 3.) Application Cheers, SD
samak
SD i did in the past only get single and double entry visas from the china embassy in BKK and had to go to Hongkong for the one year multiple entry visa (which was also more expensive). is this new? ..
Past five years for me. I do have invite letters from my customers and service contracts showing I owe them x visits a year, so maybe that helped. Cheers, SD

cavanami
Easy. Take the subway from Asoke, second stop get off and walk along and past the shopping complex, toward the True bldg. About a 5 ~ 10 minute walk? Much cheaper to get a one year, multi entry then to get a one time entry, if you are planning more trips during the year. They can do in one day but much higher cost. Usually three days.
..
What about Tourist Visas?? robaus
If you have limited tme or hassles re Chinese visa in BKK, then Macau and Hong Kong (both visa free entry points) have very efficient 24 hrs express service and a very cheap (if you're willing to wait 3 business days - Macau nice place to kill time) regular service HK$150. cavanami
The cost of the hotel in HK or Macau will be high! You might want to factor that in. 20 yrs ago, we always wen to HK to get our visa. The visa office was across from the Holiday Inn on the Golden Mile road.
