cavanami
The movie was different then the book. The main character in the book was a white man, first off. They strayed quite far from the book. The race of the main character is not so important but the movie is waaay off on the ending! Hollywierd at its best/worst... Hugh_Hoy
Nice special effects but not much of a screen play. 2.5 stars No better than a "C" in my rating system. I saw it in a theatre. Should've just waited a bit longer to rent it. (However, my Senior Citizen status allows me to go to the movies any time and pay about what it costs to rent a flick now.) I'd give it a pass (forget it). HH

A quality enrtaining movie but maybe not for the old folks. My dear Munchie...Son, with age comes experience, knowledge...appreciation. Experience, which is part of your collective knowledge, provides the ability to judge and become more discerning in that which is put in front of you. With so much crap put on the screen these days, it can be difficult for those brought up on Saturday morning cartoon shows to really know "ok" from "very good" to "excellent". So you are pardoned for thinking "Legend" is "quality entertainment". Finally, I do agree that it is not a movie for "old folks". Suggested target audience for viewing: ages 11-14, I say. HH--who sold an option to his first screenplay 21 years ago.

Central Scrutinizer
HH, Yeah, I saw it recently. Wasn't impressed except for the special effects. I'd wait for it to go to DVD. Cent
