unit731
For those who rise before noon wilst in Thailand. What is the difference between an English breakfast and an American breakfast? And where do you normally have breakfast wilst in Thailand? And tomato juice and two aspirin are not an acceptable answer!
samak
in many upper class hotels in Asia the terms American Breakfast and Continental Breakfast are used. Continental has as a minimum a choice of bread, butter, jam and coffee/tea while American has in addition eggs, ham, bacon etc. for English Breakfast go to England! jonjon058
There are a couple of Irish/English pubs just up the street a bit from Nana Plaza where I would usually eat breakfast. After one of those breakfasts you are full for the rest of the day!
nkped
The difference is about 1500 calories. With the additional 1500 calories going to the English breakfast from what I have seen.

Julian2
My splendid physique is partly due to my beloved fry-ups, the true English breakfasts. Lately I've started poaching the eggs and cooking the bacon and occasional sausage on a health grill that makes the fat run off while they're cooking. I also have Khau Tom, rice soup a couple of times a week, the packet variety is fine and drop half a dozen frozen raw shrimp tails into it for a few minutes after it comes to the boil. Very filling but not a lot of cals! The American breakfast seems to be similar to the English one but they seem to add a lot of those little pancake things with sticky sweet stuff on them.
