McBif
Excuse my transliteration, but can someone tell me where this restaurant/pub is in BKK? I gather they have (or used to have) live jazz there at least once a week and maybe more often. Thanks. I'd like to pay a visit if I drop into LOS this winter. Old Hippie
No ideas, but if you like jazz, and don't already know, try Brown Sugar on Sarasin rd. and also Saxophone near the victory monument.
Pianoman
Also, for Jazz, "The Living Room" at the Sheraton Grande on Sukumvit... The early sets with Randy Cannon and the group are Great and later the Jazz keeps going.... Pianoman
..
Sorry mate, but according to the old house band leader Jakrit, the place closed late last year over a dispute over the property. The restaurant owner is looking for a new site and plans upon reopening, but no news yet. Here's what it looked/sounded like tho'. Cheers, SD
McBif
Thanks SD and gents. Great video. "Misty" is right. Or perhaps "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" would've been even more appropriate! I'm subscribed to Jackrit on youtube and so will keep abreast of developments.
