Bust: Ya, nice. I didn't buy it; she absconded with it from her sister's abode. I did buy the overpriced Juicy Couture bracelet-cum-handbag decoration hanging from it however :doah: But admit it, you were really using the word "handbag" as a substitute for "tits." :grinyes:

SDawg, long time no talk. Yup, I often wonder why she digs me, given I'm an ugly mutt and she's a perfect flower, but best not to ask that methinks :grinyes: . And yes, the leather straps come in handy...

HH, it was awesome. And as you know, that first holiday with your girlfriend can be as great as you imagine, or a total bust, killing the relationship. This happily was the former...

Cheers,

SD

After all that activity, we kept a lower profile the last couple of days. Basically hanging out getting massages at the spa, eating/drinking by the pool, touring more orchid farms, more eating, etc. We did meet up with some local friends who took us to a fine restaurant just outside of town (I wish I could remember the name...it was great).

And we met up with a friend of Vampy's at the local iBerry. You may recognise him. Udom Taepanich, aka "Nose":

The other place that may be of interest to folks here is the noodle stall that Vampy saw on some travel show. The owner's son "raps" your order to the cooks. Kinda funny. They specialise in luk chin pla, but the luk chin are really small, about the size of the tip of your pinky (or a nipple LOL). In Thai, the locals call the place luk chin hua nom, or "Nipple Noodles". Two big bowls of noodles and two bottles of water: B70. Yummy.

Don't forget to check out Gecko Books, the best secondhand bookshop in Asia. If you see a rotund American behind the desk there it's my mate George, the owner.

He eats out every night and knows all the choice eateries and nightlife. Tell him you know me and ask him to recommend some good grub.

I'm sorry I missed your original topic asking for advice, then I only caught this topic at the end of your trip.

I'll watch out for your next expedition and try to be a bit more helpful!
