Pom Michael
Lower Suk meaning from Asoke Soi 16 to Soi 0? Plenty to offer. Sheraton Grande (Suk between Soi 12 and 14) Westin Grand (Suk Soi 19) Grand Sofitel (Soi 6) Landmark (Suk between Soi 4 and 6) JW Marriott (Suk Soi 2) Amari Boulevard (Suk Soi 5) Others for sure. drogon
I prefer: JW marriott buffet, expensive (for Thailand) but very good quality. Amari: A bit less expensive than JW, less choice but excellent quality. Never tried the others because I was satisfied with both.

drogon
Why Samak? JW marriott is quite good. Amari is great as I knew the kitchen staff. (by the girlfriend) -> always had my chocolate pyramid cake saved whenever we went to have lunch there
