Here's your itinary

 

Start at CowBoy, sample some bars, move onto Nana, sample some bars, then onto the Pong, Sample some bars. Then return to your favourite and pull out a girl and her mate.

 

The thing is Bro, that's the whole adventure .....having no plan at all and just seeing what the scene throws up your way. And it will, no question.

I've got a different take from Fool, but then we met a few times even if we didn't relate about these matters, I think I have an idea of what you may want. I think you may not like >Nana hotel and descend to the depths.<

 

I haven't stayed there, but I feel you may not look for the depths.

 

Obviously, > Mariot Landmark and Sheraton Grande all within a 5 minute stroll of the prime fleshpots. < also isn't your comfort zone.

I stayed at the SG on my very first visit in 2000, but long since decided tht if I'd have that amount of $$ to burn, I'd rather donate them to either a good cause or a friendly BG

DG is OK, but creeping up in price recently, and lousy car access/exit (including taxis,) due to one way system.

 

My take is you would enjoy Town Lodge, at the very end of Suk Soi 18. Homely atmosphere, simple rooms cheap, but with safe, dvsd/tv/ fridge and airco. Some nice suites with jacuzzi for an odd night splurge. (the girls love the jacuzzi, once they find out how to use it.)

The house bar is like home, very pleasant atmosphere, good launching place. And very cute (alas not accessible) and friendly bartenders, sometimes accessible FL's

 

Fun:

 

Walking distance from TL to SC, IMHO the best place for a relative newbie/recent widower etc to find his new feet.

 

SC, try Suzie Wong, Sheba, Shark, Rawhide, smaller bars Joy Bar, maybe Apache. i don't see you liking afterschool etc.

 

Soi 33, maybe, I think not your style.

 

If in need of ST daytime (and evening) raw physical fun with a personal touch, go BTS Thonglor - Tulip. Done that 20-30 times, come away 95% of times 100% happy. A high class pleasure palace, with very nice women working there, and reasonably priced. Not a cheap as Soi 7 BB, but higher quality..

 

I have always come away from there with a feeling I was appreciated personally, not jut seen as another punter. Sure, basically, it's a brothel, but run by women, and my take is most or all of them are working there happily, augmenting their own fortune and the fortune of the village most of them come from.

 

IMHO, you are not Eden material, unless i'm very mistaken. I used to enjoy it from time to time, but it is a bit 'formula'. If you want a 'design your own porn movie with minimum 2 women, no holes barred', give it a try. I think not you.

I like the SG, half way twixt Nana and Cowboy always found it BG friendly and resonably discreet what with its lift access below lobby level.

 

I'd stay away from this one if I were you. It's often got some dodgy characters staying in it.

 

Despite having lived in Thailand for around 4 years, I've never really let rip on the nightlife scene. Of course I"ve visited Cowboy, Nana Plaza, Patpong etc... but never sampled the pleasures.

I didn't get a sense of what kind of girls you like and what kind of bars/gogos (or if I did, I can't remember).

 

If you like girls with big tits or cute girls that usually go with Japs but who can be 'turned', I have a good and up to date list.

 

Girls with nice arses? Good bj givers? Bars where girls are friendly or bars where they actually have something worth looking at?

 

You need to be a guy on a mission. Set yourself some pussy targets. Don't let Suadam distract you with drink and non-girl related conversation and biases that exclude places where girls are 'impolite'. :grin: Acquire targets. Get back on that bike and go for the girls.

 

If you're a gogo man, btw, I'd also consider Pattaya. When I come back from there to Bangkok, I can barely stand setting foot even in Soi Cowboy because it's so comparitively tame.

 

3 nights? Miss out Patpong for a start. Must dos:

 

1. Soi Cowboy (Shark, Baccara, Afterskool, maybe Rawhide although it's been losing talent lately. No Name for relaxation.)

 

2. Nana (still, even though I can hardly stand its tameness now its been neutered. Rainbow 4, Rainbow 1. G-Spot has some cute spinners, Angelwitch if the lineup's all there has some cuties.)

 

3. Nana Car Park and 'The Miracle Mile'. Has to be done. There's nothing else like it and, especially at weekends, there is some surprisingly good talent to be found. Include Thermae on this now as the Japanese invasion there has increased the quality (looks-wise) of the girls tremendously.

 

4. A bj bar or two (Lolita's, Afterskool - to keep it local)

 

Miss out Spicey, Boss, Lucky, Spice Club, QBar, Bed - afterhours places or pickup joints for older over-priced hookers. They're a waste of time and money. If you're without a date after 2AM, do option 3.

 

That's more than enough to keep you occupied for 3 nights but don't count out Pattaya if you find the Bangkok gogos disappointing. There places like Peppermint and Supergirls and What's Up are a LOT of fun. :thumbup:

Also don't know what your style is... but for a big break up weekend Bangkok may disappoint, especially if you were around in the days before early close and the social purity campaigns! Was just in Bangkok two weeks ago, found it incredibly quiet, close times are basically enforced and even the usual after hours places were closed. Sukhumvit street life is busy after close (and I turned to it a couple times during my visit), but that's hardly the way fuck your way back onto the scene!

 

I was also in Pattaya, and would definitely recommend Pattaya over Bangkok - the only reason to stay in Bangkok is if you've got meetings or other commitments during the day. I won't go into a comparison, but if you've just got a few days you'll appreciate the diversity of fun easily available in Pattaya, and you won't be screwed by Bangkok's ridiculous closing times. Better quality, and tons of it, and the right party atmosphere to encourage you to enjoy it.

 

If you do Bangkok, hit Soi Cowboy and grab a hottie for a ST after a couple drinks - to get back in the saddle, and to ensure that your only fuck of the day is the second-tier girl you take from Suk or Nana carpark! (Nothing against 'em, I love 'em, but you should make sure you get a range of experience, including top hardbody you've seen under bright lights). Once you've gotten that first screw out of the way, relax and have a look at Nana -- and listen to Ikkrang: don't try to go back to a bar you liked in Bangkok, by the time you do she'll be gone with another punter and the bar will most likely be closed already!

PS: Stayed at the Sukhumvit Grande by Sofitel, next to the Dynasty Grand - bit more expensive, but they upgraded me to a massive Diamond Suite for the duration of my visit, very comfortable indeed. No problems with a number of girls entering either with me or alone, at all hours of the day and night - they just had to ask security to key the elevator for them.

 

Fuck it, though - even after my fat suite around the corner from Nana, I was very glad to reach Pattaya and let the games truly begin!
