unit731
I purchased a small battery operated alarm clock in Pattaya. Came in a nice box but no writing on box. The face of this small alarm clock has the word TATA on the top and the word Quartz on the bottom. On the back of the clock is the word Tianguan and M5188-X. I think I paid 100 baht for this battery alarm clock. I am not in Thailand now so I can't take it back. Anyone know this company and where I can send it to be fixed or replaced? jitagawn
You may be on a tight budget but frankly my good fellow for 100 baht I suggest you get over it and move on with your life.
devils reject
You spent $ 3.50 on an alarm clock that doesn't work anymore and you'd like to get it fixed? You are taking the piss right?
..
So true, gents. Must be a piss-take. But in the interest of science, I have once again proven that if you spend 30 seconds on Google, you can find anything! http://ccne.mofcom.gov.cn/1209827 Cheers, SD -- still amazed by this Google shit... unit731
And what about a refund/replacement? Well, I assume, with good will, I will receive a repair or replacement. With the Olympics and all, all of China is seeking good will. I can't wait for that nice new or fixed alarm clock!
theaceofspades
You must be very disappointed & perhaps even contemplating slashing your wrists with a discarded bus ticket! Perhaps you should post in the Pattaya Newbie Do's & Dont's - SCAM ALERT Under no circumstances purchase an alarm clock in Pattaya as it will inevitably end in tears, heartache & unshattered dreams! Al
I think I bought the same model on Khao San four weeks ago, they wanted 100 baht but I talked them down to 60 baht. (hey, one of my favorite restaraunts is there and I had to get up at 4 AM the next day to fly back.) Mine still works but the noise of the second hand ticking keeps me awake so I threw it away.
