USVirgin
Doesn't matter where she's from, if she plays softball she has huge thighs! Especially if she's a pitcher.
USVirgin
There are 1.2 million volunteers in Beijing to help out with the games The BOGOC has 2 lifeguards on standby during all swimming events Sounds reasonable. The last people you need to lifeguard are swimmers.

Julian2
Here's a query for you sports buffs. While reading a list of all time medalists I noticed that Great Britain/Germany has been awarded one gold. Any information on this unusual national coalition? Mentors
Michael Phelps swam to his fourth and fifth gold medals of this Olympics this morning to become the most golden Olympian in history. With a victory in the 200-meter butterfly at the Water Cube in a world record time of 1 minute, 52.03 seconds, Phelps earned his 10th overall gold medal in Olympic competition to pull clear of the tie he had been in with four legendary athletes: distance runner Paavo Nurmi of Finland (1920-28), Soviet gymnast Larysa Latynina (1956-64), swimmer Mark Spitz of the U.S. (1968-72) and U.S. track and field star Carl Lewis (1984-96).
