The bad part is, we have even more foreigners cumming over, exploiting the weak dollar, and buying the place up...pimped our country out we did.

 

Yeah, like US investors didn't do this abroad when the Dollar was high and still did it until recently in Germany e.g.

So don't complain!

Bollocks it is.

I'm always reading about people wanting to buy Thai real estate and resenting the fact that they can't buy land and face restrictions buying condos.

There's good reason for it. They don't want Thais being priced out by foreign money driving up land values.

The fact that we let foreigners do it to us is down to our stupidity.

Exactly..

I often think that people who can't legally live in my native Australia shouldn't be allowed to invest in real estate there.
