youngfarang
Has anybody on this board taking this "problem" in LOS seriously and has canceled there flights because of this issue? I'm curious behind your reasoning if so.
Fidel
Nope! I just paid for my ticket on Saturday. I arrive on Sept 25th. If the shit hits the fan in Bangkok, I'll simply sit back, have a beer and enjoy the show. I'm also planning on the Vientiane boat festival, if anyone's around, let me know! FreeTime
No, not for my flight in early October. More concerned about the possibility of incoming flights being disrupted if situation continues.
Ckrisg
Flying in October nothing will stop me short of the airport closing or the borders shutting. Been travelling to LOS 14 years now, this is just one more blip. It will blow over and return to normal (whatever is normal in LOS). If I have to drink in my hotel room and watch the action outside its still better than 3 weeks in Manchester
youngfarang
If I have to drink in my hotel room and watch the action outside its still better than 3 weeks in Manchester I think you mean its better than anywhere not just Manchester. Thats discriminating all other boring places.

Barry
I'm hoping for a load of cancellations so I can get a cheaper ticket for December. I would be fascinated to be there if a coup happens or the shit otherwise hits the fan.
belfastish
im there start of october too, doesnt worry me one bit,i would still go if i had it booked and there was a war on as i would take shelter in thai little thai ladys room last time i went the coup was on,the news made it sound like a big deal,i saw none of it at all, dont think it would affect the bar scene at all maybe just the flights. stuck in a hotel sounds great to me anyway, room service 3 or 4 thai girls and your laughing
youngfarang
Hope you all are right and it doesnt effect the P4P scene. That would be a crying shame.
