rchapstick
Dubya keeps harping on that the NUMBER of refineries in the US has remained unchanged. That is a stupid argument. It would be better to ask what has happened to US refining capacity in the US over the past 20 years instead. It leads to a slightly different story . Old Hippie
Wow, last time I trust GWB for accurate info But still, nuclear would allow for cheaper power, which means hydrogen cars, and electric cars, and cheap energy to refine fuel, so a win al the way around. Barry
Hmmm...where is the energy used to charge the batteries going to come from? You charge it from the mains, which doesn't necessarily have to be from oil powered power stations. I want one of these: http://www.lightningcarcompany.co.uk/ There will come a time when petroleum driven cars are seen in the same light as film cameras..
