Outside BKK, 300 is not an uncommon rate for some Thai places, though not everywhere and creeping up these days. I think 500 is at the limit of decency -- not so easy going below it except when well off the beaten track. In Farang areas of BKK 1000 is the "decent offer" limit, but you can easily negotiate what is included in that 1000. Guys, I know you're all studs, but freebies don't count for the purpose of this question. My understanding is that this question is restricted to girls who would not have gone with you for free (at least not without exchanging more pleasantries than "pai duay"). Once I thought I had about 1500 baht in my pocket, but I had forgotten I had spent most of the money. I think I had something like 7 10 baht bills 3 20 baht bills 4 50 baht bills and some change.
