Faustian
Different place, different group, it seems to be quite fashionable lately to use bombs against protesters. I wonder who was behind this one.... http://www.nationmultimedia.com/2008/11/13/national/national_30088331.php 13 injured, 2 badly, not too far from where I live! drogon
Thailand on its way to become like a country where it is rather hot with a lot of sand and many Americans fooling around?

Mekong
Without reading too much into the incident the finger of suspision must point towards Legal Professional co. who took over the concession from the Port Authority 2 weeks ago and have ordered existing vendors out in order to redevelop the complex. The location is prime real estate in downtown BKK, less than 2KM from Suk/Asoke Junction and adjacent to Queen Sirikit MTR Station. Damn its not that far from where I live either. drogon
I suppose some people in Thailand watched too many Hollywood maffia movies... When someone (powerful) wanted something done he sent his thugs or just bulldozed the area... Now they discovered bombs.
Mekong
Thamanat Pompao the head of Legal Professional co is a former army officer with "alledged" connections to organised crime. As I said if the land could be developed it would be worth a fortune.
