waerth
Well an option is: Fly to SIN or HKG. Take a flight from there to Phuket or Chiang Mai and then train or bus to BKK. I am considering it.

Pom Michael
If cargo had arrived already, it can be cleared out. But other than that, then nothing moving at BKK or Don Muang airport. And the govt just announced (triumphly) that Utaphao airport will service all the commercial acft. But... 1. Beside the freight airlines, does any pax airline want to go there? If they want to go, can they move enough people, equipment? 2. How long will it take the PAD to block that airport? Less than 24 hours I would say. No cheers today.
