khunsanuk
Hi, While I usually see a sea of yellow every Monday on the skytrain and downstairs in the office building, I got the distinct impression there was a lot less yellow today. Are they all at the airport, or just don't want to get accused of taking sides? Sanuk!
CTO
Interesting staff normally wear yellow - not today.

Flashermac
My taxi driver told me none of them dare wear red right now for fear of being attacked by the PAD folks. Same is probably true for those wearing yellow.

Flashermac
The Crips & the Bloods? A TV technician and his crew were almost attacked at Don Muang because some PAD folks mistook them for PPP supporters.

cheekyboy
could it be that they are disgusted with the antics of the yellow loonies and dont want to be seen as another loony ? or that they are now Closet reds ? yellows have lost all credibility now so any further elections wont go there way again and again and again ....... cheekyboy
1 million newly unemployed will be happy to shake them warmly by the throat ,imagine the losses by taxi drivers in BKK .airport runs are their bonus trips with these gone they will be scraping by. the yellow shirts are mostly well off and civil servants and can get by easilly . cavanami
The total impact on LOS is snow balling! So many areas affected by PAD and this looks that it will be going on for a while. Even if it ends tomorrow, it will take some weeks to recover from all this. Even with the Thai economy sluggish before the closing of the airports, the crime rate was increasing from what I was seeing in the moo baan. A few more days/weeks of the airport being inoperative will further cause the Thai economy to go down, IMO.
