devils reject Posted December 1, 2008 Report Share Posted December 1, 2008 1 million newly unemployed will be happy to shake them warmly by the throat ,imagine the losses by taxi drivers in BKK .airport runs are their bonus trips with these gone they will be scraping by.the yellow shirts are mostly well off and civil servants and can get by easilly . Oh no, those poor cab drivers! My heart bleeds for them. cavanami Posted December 1, 2008 Report Share Posted December 1, 2008 I would expect that the taxi drivers can make a run to Utapao / Pattaya and pull in some major Baht! Also, fares from the bus / train station(s) in BKK as travelers will have luggage and the BTS/Subway is not quite suitable to travel if you are hauling luggage.
