cheekyboy
the business model was not generating enough cash .the waitresses in there used to hassle you to keep on buying drinks all the time .hence the door fee. some guys in there didnt spend anything but just used it to pick up gals outside or inside . considering the numbers of people in there when it was busy it must have irritated the owners to have such a low income from so many customers who were essentially having a free time .compared say with the bars outside which were cash cows and made the owners wealthy .the door fee and searches were done in a clumsy way which pissed off the clientel who had never paid much at all in real terms .they should have had a voucher system or similar . cheekyboy
when the angels disco opened its doors the soi 4 was very quiet and discrete area. Black and white was a cafe and big dogs didn't exist ,and the plaza was tucked away in its enclave .so they were happy with the takings until the area boomed with busy bars everywhere making tons of dosh . they must have been left behind on the income so felt the need to cash in on the bonanza outside. but but the thinking was flawed and we know the rest .
