doxx
Thanks guys! I was looking for a gym (Cali wow and True fitness) today, got off at Sukhumwit and saw Soi Cowboy right away. Later the same day, I got off MRT Silom station and found myself at the entry to Patpong...
Specialist
Have they fixed the elevator and escalator from ground level up to the skytrain at Silom station, or do you still get to climb the stairs? I had occasion to be over that way some months back. I was photographing a temple a few stops away on the MRT, checked the map, and decided to see what Silom interchange looked like. The stairway surprise was not fun.
x0x0x
Please forgive the ignorance, but is it easier/quicker now to go from Nana-Patpong via MRT? -as opposed to sky train-
The_Munchmaster
I would say no. There is no underground station at Nana so you would have to walk/taxi/take skytrain back to the Asoke junction to get on the MTR there, which I very much doubt is quicker than getting on the skytrain at Nana travelling for 3 stops to Siam and changing for the quick ride to Sala Daeng. TroyinEwa/Perv
I really think it's about the same, give or take just a few minutes. 15-20 minutes on either, total time, including walking to from Nana/Patpong to/from the platform for BTS or MRT, does that sound about right? Mekong
Concur with MM If taking MRT to Silom the station is at junction of Rama IV / Silom so you still have a 5 minute walk to Patpong. As a rule of thumb Nana-Patpong BTS, Cowbow-Patpong MRT, though why anyone would want to go to Nana nowadays is beyond me.
