Stickman
I cannot remember the name, but on the northern side of the Chidlom BTS station is a guesthouse that looked more like a budget hotel. Seem to recall rates around 700 baht. That is a short walk to Wireless Road.

chelseafan
Thanks guys. Is Wireless road easy to find from the BTS? If so might just stay in Nana Tai and train it down. The place I am looking for is Neils Tavern, anyone know it ? I have been on their website and the map doesn't help me much.
The_Munchmaster
It's on Soi Ruam Rudee, an L shaped soi that links Wireless Road with Ploenchit Road. It's a long soi and to get to Neil's Tavern you're best to enter from the Wireless Road end and it's about half way down on the left side. Don't know if that helps? chelseafan
Thanks Munch. Maps look all well and good, but I end up getting lost most of the time.
Redbaron
M Hotel in Phloen Chit beside BTS. I stayed here a long time ago... cheap (500-900/night depending on the loom), clean and friendly staff although the front desk was only manned during business type hours. They'd meet you there if you arrived at an odd time though and your key would open a side entrance. A little tricky to find as it's a bit off the main road. Guest friendly. No food etc though. Lusty
Is that where we stayed some time ago? I've walked through this area many times since then and I've never been able to find it again. Mind you, saying that,I have to use the SatNave to get me home everyday after work in the UK!
