Flashermac
With 12 million or more people, Bangkok simply has to try harder if it wants to keep up with Pattaya.
TroyinEwa/Perv
MUGGING VICTIM DIES IN THAILAND An Inverness woman who was mugged in Thailand a week ago has died in a Bangkok hospital. Lydia Riach was to be cremated at a Thai temple after being pronounced dead on Sunday evening. The 58-year-old suffered a serious head injury when she was attacked by a motorbike snatch team who grabbed her handbag and pulled her to the ground. Her husband Douglas Riach will be returning home to Scotland with her ashes on Friday. Her death means that Thai police are now involved in a murder hunt. No suspects have been arrested but spokesman for Thai Police said: "We have a witness and leads. We will apprehend the killers."
